About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A humble contribution to making the world a better place, but little drops can make the sea. Smile, laugh, share, enjoy. "Everything is possible and nothing is real."

ABOUT ME

I have many interests ranging from films (e.g. international cinema), the arts ( street art and graphic novels in particular, music (gigs, making music), theatre, contemporary dance, pottery to cycling (on a Dutch bike, hey :-)), skiing, helping others, mountaineering, hiking, just exploring, wandering, plotting adventures and adventuring...

My work is academic and I love it - basically I am an academic but also, luckily, I work online, which allows me to travel a lot, hooray: in a nutshell, it connects education, innovation and pictorial representations.

I went to a music and art school in my childhood and teens and I enjoy drawing and painting. Music, travelling and art are my soul food, but I don't mind a nice lunch too, and coking one for you hehe:-).

There is nothing more precious than a wonderful human soul, love, friendship and images and experiences of the world and the people you cherish in your mind and your heart.

PHILOSOPHY

Be positive. Aim high. Wish good to all the people. Little acts of goodness go a long way (and big ones, wow!). Smile. Offer help/a hug/warmth/a story. Share. Be kind but stand your ground.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide range of bands/music, depending on my mood ... Some of the more popular musicians or bands on that list would be: Miles Davies, Blur, Pulp, Suede, The Cure, Garbage, The Smiths, Madredues, Husky Rescue, R.E.M., Franz Ferdinand, RHCP, Novelle Vague and many more, especially independent and emerging artists I love to discover on the net/Spotify :)...(you can understand that I wrote this some years ago...:-D)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are a few...I worked on a cross-Atlantic American cruise ship as a gap year job, when I was about to finish my undergraduate degree (managed to see amazing spots, from the Caribbean shores to the eternal ice land close to Antarctica)...A friend told me I saved her life with my story.
