My 9-5 is tame, but it doesn't define me. I'm a little more adventurous, goofy, nerdy, and fun. I love to go to theme parks, check out cultural events, sing karaoke, dance the night away, and explore the world. Urban exploration is my passion, so you'll typically find me walking around with a camera and guidebook. When I'm at home, I like to bike around town and host friends for cable series watching. I have been fortunate in my life, so I give back to my community by volunteering with several organizations, including the local theater group and a winter homeless shelter.

I'm in a transition year (changing jobs, lifestyle, etc), and traveling alone this week. My AirBnb got cancelled cuz my host was sick, and I remembered I had a CS profile set up. This may be my last chance to try this out, so why not?

兴趣

I'm a Xennial, so I have the best taste in everything ;-) music and movies, I know too many by heart. I genuinely love to travel. This trip adds continents 4 & 5 (dunno when I'll get to Antarctica or Africa), and I've been to plenty of places in my home, the US, as well. I'm well educated, but not snobbish, so I make good conversation, and I'm a big kid at heart.

I love dystopian novels (Orwell, Huxley, Atwood) and horror (Anne Rice, Stephen King). I enjoy graphic novels like the Watchmen, Maus, and the Sandman series. Classics like Shakespeare, Voltaire, & Poe have a place on my shelf.

Comedies like Psych and Modern Family.
Drama: Game of Thrones, The Man in the High Castle, Westworld, How to Get Away With Murder.
I've seen all the Marvel movies on opening weekend. I still watch Disney movies (my friend's kids are a good excuse to go). Musicals? I know the songs by heart! Favorite flicks: Labyrinth, Princess Bride, Back to the Future, Nightmare Before Christmas.

I enjoy Bach and Beethoven, love music as far back as 20s big band and as recent as today's Top 40s, but my chill out tunes are probably 80s new wave, rock ballads and pop. And I dig on 90s/2000s Latin rock (Mana, Enanitos Verdes) and current Latin pop/dance.

I dunno... I haven't done anything "amazing," really. I did a tandem skydive once. I helped my friend move cross country, and we drove down most of Route 66. That was really neat.
