ABOUT ME
I'm relaxed and easy-going, work the 9-6 mon-fri week as a web developer and like to chill out at home with some music or a film, or take a walk in my free time. I'm getting in to digitial photography, which is a handy excuse to get out and about.
Fridays and saturdays are my play-time; I usually end up frequenting some of the great bars that Manchester has on offer.
I'm a little bored of the work routine so am looking to broaden my horizons a bit and see the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd like to meet new people from different parts of the world and hopefully share my knowledge of life in Manchester (and Cornwall, if anyone wants tips for down there) with visitors. I'd also like to surf myself in the next few years; my travelling career is just starting to take off :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None, I'm new - was told about CS by a friend and thought it'd be an interesting way to meet new people from different backgrounds and cultures. Plus I wouldn't mind surfing a bit over the next few years so a little karma wouldn't hurt! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen a lot of the beautiful parts of the UK (grew up in Cornwall, spent a lot of time in the Lakes, Peaks, Dales etc) so I love what we have on offer natively. Visiting the Scottish Highlands is definitely on my to-do list. I've done some limited trips to Europe, but am going to Vietnam in a few weeks - the start of a long travelling career, I hope!
Teach, Learn, Share
My work revolves around computers, so happy to share knowledge there. I'd love to learn other languages, and have some school teaching experience so it'd be great to help someone improve their English in return for me learning about other languages.
