I grew up in Columbia, Mississippi, a small town in the heart of the American deep south. Growing up I spent my days playing baseball, chasing crawfish in the creek, riding my atv through the woods, and cooking in New Orleans. From there, I went on to Culinary school in Rhode Island and spent the next couple years cooking in Chicago and New Jersey. All that led me to opening a restaurant in Mississippi and later becoming an app developer in Austin!

I was at a pool in New Orleans and met a couple French girls who were road tripping across the US from Miami to San Francisco and staying on people's couches along the way. It sounded super fun so I invited them to stay at my place in Austin if they came through. They did, told me about this site, and now I'm here. I love diving into new places and experiences when I travel, and this has gotta be the best way to do it.
