My current mission is to live every day with excitement and to always find a silver lining in any situation, even if it's because I am the one coloring in the silver with a crayon!

ABOUT ME

I'm a server who wants to be a photographer full time. I've only recently relocated to Chicago from Nashville and am looking to meet new people and learn more about my new home myself. I believe in honesty and in new experiences which are the only way to grow. I've met some of the most amazing and dear friends in my life by being open to new opportunities. I LOVE taking and creating images, meeting new people, my wonderful dog Mara and my family. What you see is what you get - no pretenses here!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've certainly spent my fair share of time sleeping on the couches of people who started off as either strangers or barely acquaintances but people who have remained in my heart, and often still, very dear friends over the years. There were a few years in my life where I hit up several different countries in a few years staying with people I met during my travels and it is those experiences which have defined my life. My closest friends and I all share the same philosophy on life which is to remain open to it and to all possibilities! Meeting new people is what makes me tick.

Interests

Photography!!! Meeting new people, waxing philosophic about anything and everything, reading, music (especially electronic music!!), my wonderful dog - exploring my neighborhoods with her, and just generally being happy and positive (without being saccharine in the process!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to foreign countries to stay with people I didn't know beforehand. Many of those people are still very close friends of mine years later! Going to Buenos Aires, Argentina and Brisbane, Australia are definitely highlights of my life thus far.
