Hi there!

My name is Soumaya, I am originally from Morocco but have been living in Europe, mainly France, for the last 14 years.

What I like:
Hikes!Transboarder hikes are a favorite of mine right now. I did the Menton-Ventimiglia hike twice and the Cap d'Ail-Monaco once during my last couple stays in Nice.

Soap making: And I love getting creative with it. My more recent incursions soap-wise are trompe-l'oeil cupcake, tartelette-shaped soaps. I enjoy making my friends guess: cake or soap? Haha

Reading:
Generally francophone Arab literature, Latin-American poetry, but right now I'm more about diving into psychology books.

Learning languages:
I speak a few, many are on my list.

What I can offer:
Insight on Moroccan culture, including cooking workshops.
Homemade soaps or even make some from scratch with/for you.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

After a few years of lethargy on Couchsurfing, I remembered the platform and decided to be back on it.
1) Meet likeminded people in my city or visiting my city.
2) Host travellers and learn and share together.
3) Maybe be hosted myself at some stage (I've only ever been a host so far, I have never had the occasion to be hosted through CS).
