ABOUT ME

Well, I'm a nerd at heart! I love to discuss anything philosophical, technical, spiritual, mythological, etc. etc.

I went from being a sound guy to owning/operating my own installation business to working at SONOS. Really I just love music and am fascinated by physics. Somehow that lead me into sales and speaker design and now here.

My main passion is location sound for independent film, and film making in general.

PHILOSOPHY

Lately I just can't seem to deny that everything is connected. Life is vibrations, and they all interact in some way or another. Hell, Quantum Physics in my opinion is just trying to figure out how the hell vibrations in any way, shape, or form can propagate through absolute nothing.

I see a lot of spiritual origins in scientific theories, and vis-versa. I think it's all the same, just a different approach to the same goal... everyone has their own approach, that's what makes life interesting.

I like a wide range of music being a sound guy by origin. Everything from Electronica to Classical, rock to folk, jazz to industrial, ska to goth/shoe gazer. I'm a sucker for female vocals and brass sections.

Movies? I won't even get into that one. Way too many opinions on the subject. Every movie can mean so many different things to so many people that I don't even listen to suggestions or reviews. We all have a favorite bad movie, and there's always a movie that any two people will both love, and millions they disagree on.
