About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To give back to all the great memories couch surfing gave to me!
PLEASE NOTE!!: We are currently only accepted foreigners. We appreciate the travel of Americans, but at this time we are limiting our home to just people from abroad. Thank you for understanding.
ABOUT ME
I'm a small town South Dakota lady who has had the wonderful opportunity to be hosted by people around the world as I traveled for 10 months between 2010-2011. I have two spots for couch surfing. One in Bonesteel, SD and where I reside in Trophy Club, Texas. My wonderful 60 something parents LOVE to hosts people and add some diversity to the beautiful state of South Dakota. They are pretty green to technology/couch surfing so I'm in charge of screening their requests and setting up their site.
If you find yourself in the dallas area or Bonesteel, SD and the family is available I wouldn't miss a great opportunity to learn about our local culture.
Here in the suburb of Fort Worth we own a 4 bedroom home and my little family of 4 love to meet new people! You would have a private guest bedroom and bathroom.
In Bonesteel my family can teach you about cowboy and Native American culture and see the beautiful Missouri River. My family owns a beautiful cabin on Lake Fansis Case. Enjoy your travels; I know I did.
PHILOSOPHY
Wow...deep. Umm..I think life is a great thing and I'm blessed to be enjoying it to the fullest. What can I say. I'm a happy camper ---laughter and music tend to always surround me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I donated cash and of course extend bedrooms/couches.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I loved it. I really had only one mediocre experience and the other 6 were amazing! Such wonderful way to meet the culture and of course save on traveling cost in expensive countries such as our own.

Music, Movies, and Books
Country, Wild Swans is my fav book. The Incredibles is my favorite movie and the Fiddler on the roof for a more profound movie favorite. And yeah...that should suffice.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been very lucky and have been to countless countries. Thailand, Cambodia, China and Peru were some of the highlights. I've probably visited over 40 countries in my life. I studied in both Germany and Mexico for extended periods of time. The Taj, Petra Jordan and the pyramids were so breathtaking.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm Originally from a town of 300 people 55 miles from McDonald's and 33 miles from a stop light. We got street signs/names when I was in high school.
You want to know the rural US culture...ask me. :)
However, I do speak fluent German and decent Spanish and have studied at Universities in both Germany and Mexico.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We have a large 4200 square foot home full of legos and kids books! I love to cook and visit over good wine and cheese.
