Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To stop losing my house keys as it's just getting a tad ridiculous
ABOUT ME
I'm quite laid back and open-minded, tell a good story but can't do accents.
PHILOSOPHY
That whole "treat others as you'd like to be treated yourself" thing sums it up pretty well but without the preachy, omnipotent, omniscient old fella upstairs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I fell off the CS wagon for a while but I now have a new place with plenty of room and am just itching to host someone...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All good! Everyone's been wonderful - it gives one a v unusual feeling of connectedness, finding random people in disparate locations and situations then finding them like-minded, with similar values and views.
Interests
Singing, art, film, finding very good cocktails, reading, sports that I'm bad at. Oh, and the odd pub quiz.

Music, Movies, and Books
um. Love reading....Ishigaro, GGM, Eugenides, Chomsky - just finished Tiger, Tiger. Eclectic music tastes (at the mo Lisa Ekdahl, The Smiths, Johnny Cash, Belle&Sebastian, Stevie Wonder circa 1974) but always feel I could be more varied. Film...way too many to list.....oh, go on then...Jack Lemmon in The Apartment....CdB (the Depardieu version)....Crash.....Blade Runner and, at the mo, Karate Kid 1.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"The greatest thing,
you'll ever learn,
is just to love,
and be loved in return"
That Nature Boy was onto an idea there...
