Hi! I'm Sowkin, and I'm pretty new to Couchsurfing but super excited to explore this amazing community. I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Sports Management in Barcelona. I have a deep passion for sports, having transitioned from being a former professional basketball player to exploring the business side of the industry.

When I’m not studying or working, I enjoy volunteering at events, learning about different cultures, and meeting new people. Barcelona has been an amazing home, and if I’ve got the time, I’d love to show you around this beautiful city—whether it’s iconic landmarks, hidden gems, or just a stroll along the beach. I also have a soft spot for nature and love exploring hiking trails or heading out on treks with a group. If you’re into outdoor adventures, I’m totally up for it!

I’m a big foodie and love discovering new cuisines, trying local dishes, or even sharing a home-cooked meal. Exploring the world through food is one of my favorite ways to connect with people, and I’m always up for swapping foodie recommendations or bonding over a great meal.

Sports remain a huge part of my life, and I’d be thrilled to join or organize a basketball, volleyball game or even something casual like frisbee. It’s such a fun way to connect, have a laugh, and break a sweat.

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is about more than just seeing new places, it’s about connecting with people, learning from them, sharing unique moments, meeting like-minded people and to bring a bit of my world into theirs.
