HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To start with - to get into the Stockholm CS community after a positive experience in ZagrebLater on, to pass on my knowledge and experience as a CS participant here.And above all - to promote peace through understanding, and removing barriers between people!Right now I am a bit quiet and inactive. Mostly economic stuff. But this too shall pass!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Starting with the local CS community in Zagreb keeping me (moderately) sane and happy for a few years (Hvala!) I finally started some surfing 2 years ago, with trips from Stockholm to South Sweden, Norway and Croatia. This year I have finally hosted for the first time. All good good stuff :)

There are so many that 'eclectic' is an understatement. But thinking man's escapism like Sci-Fi or Fantasy with a good storyline and some point to it. Alternatively some hopeless noble but doomed quest (that's the Celtic Romantic in me ;) )

Looking out from the South African Antarctic Base and knowing that there was not a single person between me and the South Pole - and loving the feeling.
Staying out at night in the Joshua Tree desert during a meteorite shower - and finally seeing Andromeda with the naked eye.
Dancing to awesome trance music on a mountain top in California during another meteorite shower.
Being part of the first world space party Yuris Night in 2001, and every year since :) www.yurisnight.net
