ABOUT ME
I rolled into Denver on Valentine's Day, and while I do miss my Great Lakes, I am happy to have found a home in the city.
For work, I manage a bookstore about a 20 minute walk from my apartment. It's a great job for me as I get to talk about books for over 40 hours a week.
For play, I have video games, books, movies/television, and friends. Some things on that list get more attention than others.
PHILOSOPHY
Childish Delusional Romanticism. "Never grow-up."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed on two continents extensively. My best experience was in Michigan: a family took me in two nights a week. They literally took me in. I was fed, given my own bedroom & bath. I will be grateful for a long time.
Interests
Books (not just reading, but just collecting; I love the way libraries smell), reading, writing, people-watching, anything new.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books! I like books. I love talking about them. And any list I try to curate for this box won't feel right in about twenty minutes. I read a lot of literary and fantasy fiction.
I've pretty much lost any grasp I had on current films in 2010, so I like The Princess Bride?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode a camel to the pyramids at Giza. I decided to move to Ireland after pulling out a large map of the world and putting faith in where my finger landed.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Iceland
Countries I’ve Lived In
Czech Republic, Ireland, United States
