I am from Spain and I came to live in the UK in 2009 for family reasons. I have lived in Leicester, London and I am now in Newcastle where I live with my English boyfriend of 6 years. I am a linguist, Spanish teacher, translator and editor that works in the film industry. We are both vegans and love cooking for other people.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have never considered hosting strangers at mine but my boyfriend has been recently to the US for work (he's a PhD student doing research on American music) and I've been amazed of how people treated him, and especially when there have been problems or last minute cancellations. I feel very grateful about how the couchsurfing community have treated him and I would like to return this favour back by accepting people to visit and stay with us, I am also a very sociable person and I am interested in meeting new people and making friends!

I am a vinyl collector and music lover that have been DJ ing in Mexico City, U.K and Spain. I am always looking forward to spreading the old new sounds I have been digging and listening on my trips and meeting different music lovers from all over the world. I also used to do a weekly contribution to a Mexican radio station of culture and arts in a program about Jazz and Blues, I do a selection of the best European Jazz and Blues.
