Hi! My name is Casey Chambers and I am 25 years old. I am currently living in Sydney Australia. My long term goal for this year is to travel to Guatemala to help build a yoga centre, so I'd love to learn some Spanish while I'm in Australia.

Interests

I love everything music and movies! I play guitar and ukulele and really enjoy busking as often as I can. I really also enjoy cooking; I'm mostly vegetarian and I love being able to go out into the garden to pin my veges out for dinner. I play a little sport; I love badminton and roller skating and enjoy watching football(soccer) or rugby. I love writing and hiking; I often enjoy going into the bush and writing about my experience if I feel inspired.

Music, Movies, and Books

Paramore is my all time favorite band, they have taught me so much about myself and given me the confidence to grow and change as a person. I honestly love so many different kinds of music, anything that makes me feel good and that I can have a good dance to! I love many different kinds of movies, my favorites are Into the Wild, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and the Butterfly Effect. I don't really red a lot of books but some of my favorites have been The Angel's Game, My Sister's Keeper, The Butterfly and Eat Pray Love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been living as a backpacker for about two years now, and in that time I've met so many amazing people and had so many great experiences. Swimming with dolphins, visiting Japan and being on board the 10 day Spirit of New Zealand voyage have been some of the greatest experiences of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are a few things I would like to learn this year. My long term plan is to live on a lifestyle farm with a community so I would love to learn more about building and gardening. I would also like to learn some Spanish before my trip to Guatemala. Furthermore I really enjoy writing and journalling. I love to cook vegetarian and vegan food; I was a vegan for 7 months and I can maybe teach you some recipes :) I could also teach you some songs on ukulele.
