ABOUT ME

We are a young married couple that refuses to settle for boring married life. We quit our jobs in the United States of America to move to Spain to teach English and travel. After two years in Spain we have returned to the USA. Rebekah recently finished a MPH from the University of Kansas and I will be graduating from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences this May. Looking forward to becoming a doctor!

Do what makes you happy and do it to the fullest. Don't let anyone pressure you to do something other than what you want. Follow your passion.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are willing to share our couch with travelers of all sorts and share our new home city, Denver, with them. We think CS project is an incredible idea, it is the perfect way to get to know people and share stories and experiences. I think true travelers have found that to truly appreciate a city, country, or culture you must get to know the people who live in the area. So, that makes CS perfect for the new generation of traveler.
Couchsurfing is globalization at its finest, bringing people from an increasingly smaller world even closer together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have now hosted several surfers (without one bad experience). It is such great fun to share stories, expertise on your location, and to just get different opinions on everything from good local drinks, cheap hang outs, to politics, religion, and ethics from people all over the world.

兴趣

We love experiencing other cultures when we travel and meeting locals. We are curently in dance classes to learn salsa and cha cha cha. We like hiking, biking, and enjoy arts of many forms.
We truly enjoy nature and the outdoors, and believe that for all the beauty that man has created, there is nothing more stunning than natural landscapes, horizons, beaches or mountains.

音乐、电影和书籍

We like comedies, drama, suspense. The last movie we saw was Blood Diamonds. We are currently reading a Spanish novel serpientes en el paraiso. We like all kinds of music. There are great places to hear live music in K.C., just ask us and we can help you find it. We absolutely love live theater and K.C. has an excellent theater company. Also, free summer performances as well.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We hiked up Longs Peak, a 14er in Colorado. 14 miles roundtrip, practically straight up at the end. Scared us to death, but it was worth the effort. It was beautiful! Last year we were able to travel to Macchu Picchu and it was everything one could hope for!

We love cooking and have tons of recipes. Rebekah could be considered a master chef!!
