I have lived in Oklahoma most of my life. I enjoy meeting new people and travel. I like to laugh and have fun talking, hiking, going new places and seeing new sights.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in getting up each day with a positive attitude, trying to keep a balance in every aspect of life and laughing every chance you get.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can meet people and take them for coffee or drinks or sight seeing in the OKC area. I have participated in Couch Surfing events and networking. Right now I have a single bed guest room and my house has one bathroom.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first discovered CSing on a bulletin Board in a hostel in Lima Peru. I have Couch Surfed twice in Dallas and at an event in Uncertain, Texas at Caddo Lake. Also in Arkansas, Alaska and in Mass.

Interests

Listening to modern folk music and jazz, visiting art museums. getting togther with friends and going for coffee, African druming.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Co-Hosting Robert Mirabal at a concert. Attending Native American Sweat lodges. Seeing a Hopi green corn ceremony in person. Traveling to Peru. Going by motorcycle with my brother from Ok to northern Calif.
The annual Woody Guthrie free folk festival in Okemah, Ok. Attending the Snow Goose Gathering in Oceanside Calif. 2 years.

When giving one very important information, have the person repeat it back to you, and you to them as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Take them to dinner. A bottle of wine. Cleaning up after myself. Positive attitude.
