Overview
About Me
Queer Asian-American, grew up in HK, Shanghai & US, lived in JP for 1 year; independent who loves life and sharing experiences and kindness with others! Spirituality and self growth are really important to me. I travel to learn about myself and others, and create meaning in our universe. Wholehearted believer in true community and enjoying life how it is meant to be experienced!
I am respectful of others and non-judgmental, and looking for the same. This is very very important to me!
In the real world, I work with developmentally disabled, and student youth population to create curriculum and enhance their learning experiences. I enjoy connecting and giving back to community, and hopefully sharing knowledge that helps to break barriers between cultures, especially in our weary times.
I LOVE to experience the outdoors! I challenge myself and my limits, and laugh along the way. I believe that is how you live life while still growing. I can be introverted sometimes but I love people and try to show through my actions and intentions. I enjoy camping and hiking, things that make me think about life... and I enjoy shooting pool, rock climbing, paddle boarding, going to live music, festivals, and LOTS of dancing!
I haven't used this in many many MANY years and haven't traveled in a long time until more recently..! I'm interested to couch surf again and meet different people from around the world. Not verified cuz it's expensive if I haven't used this regularly hahah, but I promise I will once I get this goinggg!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make new friends and find local places in foreign countries to hang!
Also important... I VERY MUCH enjoy and prefer the local scene and living the "day by day" simple life anywhere I travel and connecting with people of different personalities, generations and cultures. I don't enjoy the touristy life very much. I'd like to see how people live and enjoy company, share some laughs and stories, go on fun adventures. Show me your favorite bars, gatherings, and I'll accompany you on projects, hobbies, and experiences of our own!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went skydiving on a whim, happened to be the day after my birthday (cuz it was the weekend).
Flew to Utrecht, NL 3 days prior to getting a ticket, met some brass musicians that same night, and went to Zwarte Cross music festival with them the morning afterwards by train.
I've soaked in a cheese bath in Switzerland. That was the only thing on my bucket list, of all things to do there.
