ABOUT ME

Mother of two now adult kids. I enjoy meeting people of all ages from all over the world, and sharing life experiences, singing, going to the coffee shop, or for a nice meal.

I am fortunate enough to work at something that means the world to me - protecting wildlife species. In my spare time, I volunteer as an assistant organizer for a local meetup group and host dance events, lectures, plays, canoe trips and whatever else strikes my fancy. It is a great way to get out and meet people from Ottawa if you are visiting.

With some advance notice, we can enjoy Canada's outdoors together - go for a canoe trip or a hike in a nearby park.

If you prefer the city we can go for a day on the town, or I can point you in the right direction if you prefer some time alone.

Interests include photography, meditation, dancing, karaoke, cards, the great outdoors, good coffee, laughter, great food, more laughter, and big warm smiles.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met Francoise in Nice France for coffee several times. She is a lovely woman, and I hope she will come visit with me in Canada this summer.

Renate stayed with me for three days in my little home in Ottawa. It was a lovely experience and has opened me to exploring this great way of meeting people and experiencing day to day life with lovely people from around the globe places I visit.

Intereses
