About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To Rule the world through Music and the Arts. Bow down to my Awsome non Talent!

ABOUT ME

I am a student with little to no place to live. I am working on a degree in Choral Education with and emphasis on Theater. I am wacky and out there. I just love to have fun!

PHILOSOPHY

Don’t Let Life Pass You By

On our way back from vacation, my healthy 39 year old wife had a brain aneurysm explode and within hours I had lost her. After returning from the hospital, I opened the refrigerator and noticed a bottle of champagne in the back. I remember buying it with her for a special occasion. That special occasion will never happen now.

Never save something for a special occasion. Every day in your life is a special occasion. Live it like it is! I hope what I have to say and my experience will allow you to look at your life differently.

Give your job 100% but, remember that your job is a means to your personal life. Do you think your legacy will be “he/she was a good accountant or salesman” or “he/she was a great spouse, parent and/or friend”? What do you want to be known as?

Understand that life is a source of experience to be lived up to, not survived through. The band Areosmith has a song that claims “Life’s a journey not a destination”. That sentence carries a wisdom that I would have preferred to be more familiar with had I known what my future would hold. Life is what you make it out to be.

The words "Someday..." and "One Day..." should fade away from your dictionary. If it's worth seeing, listening or doing, see, listen, or do it now! I don't know what my wife would have done if she knew she wouldn't be there the next morning, this nobody can tell. She probably would have called her closest friends and told her boys how much she loved them. I would like to think that she would have called and made peace over past quarrels. It's the small things that I would regret we didn’t do, had we knew her time was near. I regret it; because we can no longer see our friends as a couple. I regret and feel sad, because she didn't make peace with those she was quarreling with and tell them how much she really loved them. I regret that we didn’t make more friends. I will now.

Don’t delay, postpone or keep anything that could bring joy and laughter into your life, I know I won’t. I urge you to read more and clean less. Sit on the porch without worrying about anything and on each morning, realize that this could be a special day. Each day, each hour, each minute, is special. Enjoy yourself.

I want you to remember that life is what happens while we are busy making other plans. Please look at your life differently; I lost my life mate halfway through my life. Don’t take your family for granted that they, or even you, will be there the next day. Go home, kiss your spouse and kids, and discuss with them my experience. What you will do different from now on?

I heard a great man tell this speech. I live my life by this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am in need of couches now, but soon, when I have one, I will let another stay on my couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had two couch experiences and it was Texas Chainsaw Mass. with lots of people. I was crashing in Eau Claire, Wi. Good Times. The other was in Minneapolis Minnesota with a guy who was great to me, along with his room-mates. They helped me out with some housing overnight and more. They even gave me bus fair in the morn. Thanks guys.

I am interested in Music and Acting. I have little hobbies here and there, but those are the main.

Music, Movies, and Books

NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS.
I do also enjoy the Ender series and any Anime!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the sunrise and ate cereal with my dad on the boat at the same time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess I am still learning, but what I can say is find a way to live life and have fun doing it. Life gets in the way, don't let it.
