ABOUT ME

I'm kind of a paradox because I'm a very social person, but at the same time I can very shy and have a hard time breaking the ice. For me, there is just something extraordinary about getting out away from the crowds, back deep into the country (the landscape that most people will never see in their lifetime) that makes me feel connected to God and His awesome, beautiful creation. I came to the conclusion however that I am not an independent person. I hate and am utterly scared of being lonely. I love being around and close with the people who mean the most to me. That’s why I love my family so much and value my close friendships above many other things in this life. I'm really laid back about life. For me it's not about going a million miles a minute, but rather the long moments frozen in time where you can step back and really appreciate life. But if the time and the day is right, I can cut loose, and really have a good time. I'm not the kind of person that you always suspect is hiding something, or someone that you know you'll never be able to figure out. My life is an open book, and if you look closely enough, hopefully you may just find something you love.

Interests

I love meeting new people and developing meaningful and personal relationships with new friends. Doing well in school is very important to me, but I will gladly sacrifice study time to have a 2 hour conversation about the meaning of life with a close friend. Snowboarding and wakeboarding are what I would do every day if I had my choice. I love to play sports and to watch sports. My favorite sports include football, basketball, golf, and the X games. I'm always up to see a good movie or to go dance the night away (especially swing dancing).

In order of importance on my Tivo Season Pass: Lost, Heroes, The Office, CSI, Pardon the Interruption, The King of Queens, My Name is Earl, Mythbusters, Late Night with Conan O'Brian, Family Guy, Stunt Junkies, MTV Cribs, Human Weapon, and SportsCenter all day, every day.

Favorite Movies:
Some of my favorite comedies include: Anchorman, Tommy Boy, Saving Silverman, Super Troopers, Wedding Crashers, Bruce Almighty, School of Rock, Blades of Glory, and The 40 year old Virgin.
Favorite Drama/ Action movies: 300, The Departed, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Requiem for a Dream, The Boondock Saints, Crash, Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart, American History X, Scarface, Training Day, Dust to Glory and Kill Bill.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bungee jumped from the second highest bungee in the world! 143 meters of free fall! It was the most amazing and intense thing I have ever done.
