About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Aspiring Beach Bum

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Oklahoma. I've become very active in the couchsurfing community earlier this year, and I'm never looking back. Oklahoma has quickly become the utopia that I never thought I would find. When I'm not at work, I'm playing volleyball, kickball, or just plain relaxing with my couchsurfer family.

PHILOSOPHY

The best way of living is a bag on my back, and my feet on the ground. Living a basic life, full of human interaction, finding a shade tree, or a random conversation with a complete stranger(new friend) is what puts and keeps a smile on my face.
Everyone has a story to tell, and I want to hear.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting, organizing, drinking, smiling and interacting.
Since signing up for couchsurfing, it's become impossible for me to decline an invite for social interaction. Send me a direct message to grab a drink or dinner, I'll be there. No matter where you are, I'll get there, somehow, soon....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Safe to say that I'm a couchsurfing veteran, at this point, especially with the influx of newbies joining the site.
Signed up for couchsurfing after I decided to move to Bangkok in 2010.
When I moved back to the states, continued my couchsurfing experience by attending, and organizing quite a few events, making a few lifetime friends along the way.

Interests

My interests are pretty basic. Nothing really stands out, when compared to the next human being.
I've taken on quite a few hobbies, activities, interest in subjects over the years, some more successful than others.
I've come to accept that I prefer relaxing, brewing beer, traveling and lying on the sand the most. But I'm more than willing to discuss my failed attempt at a MMA/Boxing training and fighting, and the time I was almost punched.
