I'm a 24 year old from the New York suburbs. I love traveling and meeting new people from all over the world. Unfortunately, at this point in my life, I had to move back in with my parents, so I am unable to host. I'm hoping in the next few years, I will be done with my MS in counseling and can afford my own place to which to host.

I love music and movies. I try to read, but I have a short attention span, that rarely works out :)

I like to relax when I travel, not feel rushed to see everything in 1 or 2 days. That seems to give me more time to understand just how big the world is and digest what I am seeing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet people, so this seems like the best of both worlds! Like I said before, I had to move back in with my parents, so money is a little tight for me. If I can save the cost of a hotel/hostel/airbnb in exchange for treating dinner, swapping stories and making new friends, it sounds perfect to me.

Interests

Movies, music, people, travel. Anything that helps get the brain working. I really dislike basic, plain, "how's the weather?" type of conversation.

I literally could sit here for days writing a list of my favorite things. The list is ever growing and changing too, so I may never actually finish it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumped the Kawarau River. It mostly important for me because it helped push me out of my comfort zone. I don't like heights, so it was a big deal.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, good food, beer (or whatever you prefer to drink) and great conversation. I wish I had more to give in the way of material things, but I hope these make a nice substitute.
