Overview
About Me
I'm taking some time off from school to work, travel, and gain some life experience. I'm gay, I work at a restaurant, I sing in a choir, and I share my name with a semi-famous British rock musician from the 60s.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel, meet new people, and experience the world from a more firsthand perspective, instead of just as a tourist.
Interests
I'm interested in music. My favorites are the Beatles, Steely Dan, Bruce Springsteen, and Stevie Wonder.
I also like classical music. I'm a trained singer, and even though I'm nowhere near good enough to go pro, it's still something that I love to do. I can also pretend to play piano and guitar (kind of).
I'm not very politically inclined, but I love hearing other people's views.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Monty Python and the Coen Brothers. For more serious movies (drama, action, etc.), I'd say "The Godfather" and most of Hayao Miyazaki's stuff are among my favorites.
I'm really bad at finishing books, but I'm getting better. I love "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy, and "The Phantom Tollbooth" is one of my favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know about "amazing," but I've been in some pretty cool performances in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't have a whole lot to teach except what they taught me in high school, and I wouldn't wish that on anybody. I love to learn though! I'm especially interested in psychology and sociology.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I always love to share good conversation, but I'm happy to help cook and clean and such as well.
