After graduating from college in May of 2015, I set a goal for myself to see as many countries as possible over the next 5 years of my life. In order to fund my travels, I teach English online to Chinese students and run a blog/website. My current status is meandering northern and eastern Europe for the summer of 2018.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sightseeing for me is a very small part of why I enjoy travelling. I would much rather meet and have conversation with locals about their city, language, culture, etc. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to do just that.

Music - can play many instruments and love listening to live concerts

Sports - grew up with American football (Packers), but must say the real football is growing on me :) allegiance to Arsenal, but undeclared in the Bundesliga

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - can listen to anything, but rap is on the bottom of my list. EDM is becoming one of my favorites
Movies - The Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings, and many more
Books - I have to admit, I have always tried to get into reading, but never have caught the bug. Maybe one day...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-50 hour bus ride across the United States - I don't recommend it
-swimming with massive sea turtles while scuba diving in Mexico
