ABOUT ME

I enjoy traveling most anywhere (especially new places and internationally). I speak only some travelers Spanish, but don't let that keep me from traveling. I usually travel the way I did when I was 26 (my first serious overseas trip) with a lightly packed rucksack and limited funds, staying in hostels and backpacker-type hotels. I am usually the "elder statesman" of the groups I hang with but no problem as I am just as "mature" as I was at 26!

Most of my overseas travel has been solo, due in part to those around me not being too adventurous, or even thinking that I am just plain nuts. Every American should be required to have a passport and travel overseas.

PHILOSOPHY

I am learning more and more about less and less until I know everything about nothing.

Hosted some good people. Been to some fun events. When overseas I use my new CS friend's knowledge of the local area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Various; people I've met on the road inviting me to stay with them and more recently with CS hosted out of town visitors + attended CS events here and in other cities.
