About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To spread positive vibes in order to save this world
ABOUT ME
I come from Hildesheim in northern Germany, studied in Heidelberg in southern Germany, and now live in Barcelona. I enjoy traveling and broadening my horizon, but at the same time I don't turn my back on my hometown Hildesheim and Germany, great places!!! (absence makes the heart grow founder!)
PHILOSOPHY
Paragraph 1: Jeder macht seins!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When possible, offer my couch in Barcelona. AT THE MOMENT I AM LOOKING FOR A NEW PLACE IN BCN AND THEREFOREAM KIND OF HOMELESS, CAN`T OFFER ACCOMMODATION FOR THE BEEING.
Travel to inspect other couches.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I enjoyed hitchhiking through Spain, all by myself, I met great people and at the same time learned how to deal with loneliness.
Interests
First and foremost: travelling and meeting new people.
My secret passion is history, one more incentive to go travelling, to see all the destroyed castles and blood-soaked streets with my own eyes.
Then of course languages, which is what I studied. I speak English, Spanish, French and some Italian, apart from my mother tongue, German, of course.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Monty Python, above all the flying Circues, but also their movies, and the German Jazz musician/comedian/ singer/songwriter/actor/director Helge Schneider, the No 1 reason to learn German.
I am open to everything, I like movies in general, tending also to the more meaningfull ones, it's not all about comedy. Can't stand martial arts movies, and only some action movies.
I love literature in general, but as I don't get round to reading that often I won't judge or recommend anything.
Musicwise, I am more the RRRock kind of guy, but once again open to anything, also love reggae, ska and some rap. Not to keen on Techno.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Reciprocated Love (TERRIBLY kitchy - but true)
Teach, Learn, Share
Obviously, I am enthusiastic about helping anybody learning the languages mentioned above ( and learning new ones!).
Furthermore, I am always keen to teach others about German culture, as a counterweight to the Bratwurst-Oktoberfest-Hitler-Beer-Efficiency-Stereotype (nothing against the beer, though!)
