About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the work looking for great cultural and artistic hot spots. Also paraglide from as many places as possible.

ABOUT ME

A pragmatic/practical, optimist and somewhat lazy fat bastard. I'm a friendly, coolheaded and funny guy. I try to enjoy what life has to offer without worrying too much about the far away future.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy yourself without getting in the way of others. Live and let live. Keep your head cool, try to maximize good experiences and avoid bad ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking for friends who can share their couch and help giving good advice and suggestions on how to enjoy their cities as much as possible. Also, I'd love to have them as company visiting turistic places and eating in traditional restaurants.

Interests

Despite being a professional of exact sciences, I love all kinds of art, specially sculpting, painting, dramaturgy, cinema. I'm pretty confortable spending time alone, but I can't deny some of the best moments of my life were spent with family, friends and just met new friends. I'm eager to travel the world to see historical buildings, places and people. I'm thrilled at the idea of knowing new cultures, religions, foods and new ways to look at life.
Also, I love videogames and I'm building my professional carreer into achieving a position at the digital media industry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing that marked my life was the first time I travelled by plane alone. I was filled with an indescribable joy, I just laughed alone with the feeling of freedom and accomplishment.
One other thing that marked me in this life was when I left my mom's home for my new job in an entirely new city. It was amazing achieving financial independency, having my own place, my own job. I miss my family a lot, and I keep visiting them from time to time, it's always great to have a good meal with them, catching up and just being close to my beloved family.
My other great experience is yet to come: my first really alone travel in my first vacations from the new job. I got a great deal on flight tickets, and that gave me the opportunity to visit several places at once.
Aah, I'm also having paragliding lessons. I'm eager to find great paragliding spots all over the world, and registering those flights with my camera.

Teach, Learn, Share

Paragliding tips and info. I have some introductory books that I'll be happy to give to any host that is interested in free flight.
I can also teach a little about engineering: I love to talk about practical tips and curious facts about computer science.
