About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Clear my mind, discover coffee, find beauty.
ABOUT ME
Saying I'm like this and that always seemed a bit odd to me, I'm never sure what defines me most... but here's a try. I love foreign languages, exotic foods, coffee in all its varieties, plane take-offs and adrenalin. Travel wonderfully combines all of those so naturally, I triple-love it too. I'm a researcher, spending most of my free time discovering European cinema, music and theatre.
Over the years I've tried some random things, although I usually didn't stay with them for over a year or two, i.e. tennis or martial arts. I've no idea where I'm going in the future, but so far I like the ride.
PHILOSOPHY
To enjoy and rejoice about opportunities, friendship, love, happiness as they come along. To let them go, when it's time. To breathe deeply and look into the sky more often. Travel, experience, discover, keep wondering.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just started... will get back to this question.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only had two experiences really. The first one was myself staying with a couchsurfer in Belfast; he was absolutely amazing and a great first step into this community. I've later on met a couple from France in my hometown, showing them around for an afternoon, which was also great fun... I really love this project and will stick to it for a while at least.
Update: my second experience as a surfer had an overall positive impact on my happiness level.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favourite was a camel ride in the middle of the Negev with a very strange looking camel guide. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea in the beginning, now the hours count to the happies in my life.
