About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be happy in and to see some of Europe

ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Yang.

I'm currently in Italy doing an internship at the fashion company Brunello Cucinelli, and living in Perugia.

This is my first time in Italy (and Europe!), so I'd like to meet new people and see new places, and have a positive experience before returning to the US (aug. 16)!

here is a general description of me:

Person/personality-wise:
I like to think that I am warm and open and kind, and also funny and fun!

PHILOSOPHY

once a friend(who is very into Physics) told me of a 'holographic' view on life.

"A hologram is a 3d image, but it also has the remarkable property that any piece of the image actually contains ALL of the image
.. like, a hologram is this photographic plate of glass
and you shine a laser through it
and interfere it with another laser
but if you break off a corner of the glass
and use it in the same fashion
you will still get the entire image
maybe life is like that
any one slice of it, contains the essence of the entire pie
like take anything, idk, physics for example
people think physicists are sheltered
but i imagine that if you get enough into it, you will experience it all - joy, depression, enlightenment, confusion, loneliness, love
same goes for anything...if you get sufficiently deep into any one endeavor, you can experience all of life through it
like a hologram."

i'm not completely sure.. but i think i believe this/agree. I'm interested in and dabble in lots of things. But i want to stick to one thing and be really good at it, because that is more meaningful i think. trying different things is helping me figure out more and more what is the thing i like and want to do.
