ABOUT ME

Hey wonderful couchsurfers! My name is Spozmi and I am so excited to be part of the couchsurfing community! I currently live and go to school in New York City. One of my favorites parts of life is laughing and meeting new people. I also have a strong belief that it's the little things in life that matter the most...like catching the train right before the doors close (a very New York example) or smiling at a total stranger and making their day. I'm an extremely positive person, so if you're ever feeling down just shoot me a message!

I'm the person that is always smiling at random strangers. Hey, if I can make someone's day, why not? I have a fair share of stories and experiences that I'd love to trade!

I have not had a couchsurfing experience yet but am looking forward to my first one!

Interests

I love everything and anything...and I'm pretty open to trying everything at least once. Hey, you never know ;)

I love listening to music from every corner of the world. I also love trying different cuisines. I enjoy reading and watching funny movies. But most of all I love having a conversation with someone with is truly interested in what I have to say (don't worry I'm also interested in what you have to say!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching movies, a total netflix junkie. I do have a soft spot for comedies and romance movies.

Books have always played a big part of my life. I love reading and wish I had more time to do it leisurely. Some of my favorite books are My Sister's Keeper and A Thousand Splendid Suns.

I love listening to all types of music, especially music from other countries. Have any recommendations?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to Afghanistan and be really participating in the Afghani culture. It is so loving, hospitable and genuine. Seeing the unbroken spirits of the people that have gone and are still going through so much (and they are still able to smile and laugh).

I can make killer eggs with veggies. I am also an enthusiast can pass along the positivity very easily!
