Freshly transplanted to WA state from the humid swamps of South Florida, and looking to channel the spirit of Jack Kerouac before gas prices resign me to a life in Suburbia

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've travelled a bit, and have a very good knowledge of the history of Miami, as well as the accompanying sites and restaurants in the area. This is mi casa, but I'd love to make it su casa as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited Hong Kong before the Chinese takeover; lots of sports memories -- First Marlins game (April 5, 1993); First no-hitter (May 11, 1996); All four World Series games in 1997; Game 4 of the 2003 World Series; Last game at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto (February 12, 1999).

Currently trying to visit all 30 Major League Stadiums. I have 23 down.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm more than happy to teach people the lost art of making Cuban coffee. Most people prefer to use a standard espresso maker, but my method involves the old percolator and finely granulated Pilon coffee.

It's been known to give those with atheistic tendencies a religious experience.
