Chi sono
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life as much as possible!
ABOUT ME
I was born in Washington DC. I grew up very close with my family and extended family as a child. My family moved frequently because of my dad taking various contracting jobs around the world. That developed my love of traveling, I practically grew up on a plane. Because of that I am able to sleep anywhere and on anything and am not affected by timezones, woo!
I enjoy relaxing in general and doing outdoor activities like camping, soccer, walking/driving aimlessly in a random direction. One of my hobbies would be video editing, I haven't invested as much time as I should have recently, but it's still a lot of fun to do.
I majored in business administration and have a career in finance at the moment. I really love my job and I have a lot of fun with it, yeah I know its not for everyone.
People may find me a bit eccentric, but I'm very cheery and positive. My humor is very morbid and sarcastic.
I'm also a bit of an insomniac. Not really, but I find sleep to be a large waste of time, so I'll go to sleep rather late, and wake up early. 5-6 hours of sleep is all I really need. Caffeine doesn't affect me at all, I guess it can help me focus, but its not going to keep me up at night.
I also have a red bull addiction, which is delicious and expensive.
I'm sure I'll add more here later, but this seems good for now. I think its better to just meet and learn more about each other face to face! :D
PHILOSOPHY
Life is complicated, annoyingly so, still searching for a good reason behind it in general. But while I'm alive, I want to experience as much as possible, everything really.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing meeting was a picnic in Pistoia that was set up by Massimo. There was a good group of people from the Tuscany area who even brought some other non-cs members. It was a great time all around just hanging out at Massimo's beautiful home and eating a great lunch. The relationships built that day were great and made me have a huge amount of faith in couchsurfing.com.

Musica, film e libri
Favorite book of all time = Count of Monte Cristo.
Music is great and I listen to everything, but I focus a lot on punk and metal. I like the energy and overall music of punk, but I will admit metal is a bit more complicated and musically interesting.
Of course I grew up with classical music, so that is another thing I listen to. Beethovan's 5th Symphony is my favorite piece. Jazz is nice if I'm in the right mood for it, the real stuff though, none of that smooth jazz porno crap.
Love movies in general, big epic films are a plus. I grew up with Terminator 2, so that's near the top of my list. Sin City was great, especially because of the fantastic cinematography, the contrast of light and color was very well done.
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Hmmmm, one I can think of right now was on a cross-country drive across the United States with my family. At the Grand Canyon there was a bit of rain for an hour or so, but it allowed for a very nice double rainbow to overtake the landscape.
