I am a simple, loving and active person. I enjoy exploration and knowledge. Adrenaline junkie but also very peaceful. Encyclopedist but also focused. Artistic and technical.
I am a real person with pros and cons, feelings and needs... All the rest you'll have to find out yourself.

PHILOSOPHY

Atheist, hedonist, non-violent.

My personal philosophy is Epicurean with eastern influences. I am not religious but I consider myself spiritual.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and surfed with people from all around the world. You can sometimes find me in CS meetings around Athens or even abroad and I sometimes participate in the forums as well.
In my mind, the most important way I have participated in the CS project is creating so many great momments with fellow CSers.

Favourite movies:
Drama: Natural born killers, Thriller: Taxi Driver, Sci-Fi: Blade Runner, War: Full Metal Jacket, Western: The good the bad & the ugly, Bollywood: Dil se, European: Trois coleurs, Comedy: Dr. Strangelove, Mafia: Goodfellas....
As you see, I stick with mostly classics...

Music: I spend most of my time listening to A. Classical B. Rock C. Jazz D. Greek... But I have more than 1200 albums in my LP and CD collection, covering a very broad range and depending on the mood I can enjoy almost any kind of music.

Books:
I have been working in a publisher for 3 years then spent another 3 years dealing antiquarian books. My favourite book is the complete Epicurus on one hand and the works of Wilhelm Reich, Erich Fromm and the other early psychologists on the other.
I really enjoy reading biographies, history and other non-fiction works, especially reffering to the 20th century.
I'm a huge fan of mid/late 20-th century greek poetry as well.
