ABOUT ME

This is the bit I hate most, I never know what to say! but here goes:

I'm a quiet, shy sort of person and don't talk much (I'll admit not the best makings for a host!) and quite often information has to be dragged out of me. This isn't cause I don't want to say it, but because I don't know how. However, I do like travelling, seeing new places and meeting new cultures. Most of the time I prefer the places that tourists don't usually get to see as in this way you get a better look at the local culture, but you gotta see the tourist attractions too!

I am always up for a good story, be it from a film, book or otherwise. Music wise..I prefer rock or metal but I have on occasion listened to classical or pop music depending on my mood. I'm trying to teach myself how to play the guitar, haven't gotten very far theory wise but can at least play bits of songs!

I enjoy a good occasion to go do something outdoors with my friends - cycling (though haven't gone lately :/), climbing, sailing, hiking. They get me out of the house and away from my computer and into the sun! Thankfully in my line of work I often find myself out in the elements getting either wet or sunburnt and more likely the latter!

Things to know: I'm diabetic - need to prepare food supplies for outdoor activities

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in Norway and found it a great experience. Met new people who showed me their way of life and introduced me to Norway. They showed me how different and the same our lives were!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Read too many books for my own good and as a consequence I can't name books otherwise I'd be writing all day! but my mind always goes back to Terry Pratchett's Discworld series and can always reread the books. Also like Bernard Cornwell, Tad Williams and Andy McNab. Right now I'm reading Jim Butcher's 'Fool Moon'.

I predominately listen to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, epica...ie rock/metal music!

Films/series: Blackadder, Despicable Me, The Fugitive, Thor, Iron Man, seen too many..cant think of more right now!
