ABOUT ME
I am coming back to Europe after 15 months abroad (14 in New Zealand).I had an amazing time in NZ and would be absolutely happy to share my tips if you plan to visit this country soon :)
I am now settling down around Chantilly. I'd love to meet people from other countries or locals ,regardless if they can host or not, to get a hint of their way of living/thinking/travelling/socialising/etc.
I'd also be happy to meet other travellers to share a bit of our good and bad exciting live moments :D
I am not a huge party animal but I enjoy socialising around a few drinks or food (I'm a foodie, food is life, period). Outdoor activities are also great to socialise/visit the region/empty your mind/pretend you've been working out/etc. One of my weaknesses is my bad memory, I often have trouble remembering a story from a movie/TV show/book/my own life so I am better at listening than talking. I will talk don't worry but my stories are not the most detailed one :)
Also I am often humming (if not singing, softly I promise), this generally means that I am happy :D :D
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I cannot host anyone yet. However I would be glad to show you the city and to give you tips to discover the region or have a chat/drink with you anywhere in the world :)
If you host me, i'll be glad to share our experiences, cook for you or give you a hand with anything.
I can also be very quiet when needed.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been couchsurfing with 3 of my friends for a few days in Delhi, India at an awesome guy's who shared his life with us, brought us out and invited us to his parties. We had a lovely time there, close to the host's way of life.
I've also couchsurfed during a roadtrip in France and Australia, and have loved hearing about my hosts stories and sharing meal and visits with them. You learn so much by meeting people from different backgrounds and it gives you that refreshing open-mindedness which I find so important if you want to travel and exchange with people in a respectful way.
I can't wait for the next time i'll be couchsurfing to experience different kinds of hosting.
Intereses
I enjoy travelling, cooking, singing, listening to music and to your stories and discovering a new culture, a new language.
I got into hiking and camping when travelling New Zealand and now find that outdoor activities are awesome and refreshing.
I also like sailing and I wish I was a better sailor, that's something I need to work towards in the next years.

Algo increíble que he hecho
In Jakarta, I met this old French guy who lived on an island in South Sulawesi far from any touristic areas. He offers to come for a week so I take the opportunity to go and this was such an incredible adventure. There were absolutely no other tourists and that was the best way to discover the local culture and sharing stories. Sometimes you just have to listen and trust your instincts and this lead you to great meetings and adventures.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I can teach a bit of French and how to make crepes, brownie or apple crumble :)
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I will be happy to cook for you, share stories and help you with small work around the house or the garden.
