ABOUT ME

I'm a very outgoing person. Love to travel and meet new people. I believe that more travelling makes one wiser and will enable one to develop multiple perspectives on life. I love to talk and share my experiences. I also love to listen to stories and get inspired by the same. I am an amatuer photographer and loves taking portraits. Even though I do not sing or play any instruments, music is an important part of my life. I love listening to all kinds of music: from instrumentals, jazz, pop and the occasional metal.

I also believe in the power of volunteering. I have been involved in volunteering activities with many NGOs working in the field of education, child protection and health. I have worked as a tutor to many kids in various government school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling. And as I understand, CS is all about experiences. Sharing your travel experiences and meeting new people from across the globe is what bring me to CS. I wish to travel to absorb the cultural vibrancy our world has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch movies from all genre. Be it action thriller, comedy, sci-fi, romance(occasional), etc. It is very difficult to list all my favourite movies. However some of them are Into the Wild, Inception, Lord of the Rings, Ocean series, Cast away, The Terminal, The Silence of the Lamps, Pirates of the Caribbean, The boy in striped pyjamas, Braveheart.....

Music is what gives me energy. Helps me cheer up when I'm low. Beethoven, Yaani, A.R. Rehman, Folk Music, Indi-pop and anything and everything..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled as a lone-wolf for 7 days without any pre-determined itinerary: lost myself in the journey and fell in love with the idea of travelling alone.
