About Me

CURRENTLY:

I have to admit it's been a while since I have been on Couchsurfing. After a year traveling abroad through Southeast Asia and Australia in 2014, I settled down in Maui the past 5 years working as a tour guide and ultimately a Master Captain in Maui. It's been an amazing experience but I have missed the opportunity to travel abroad and meet people from around the world in their home town. Currently, I am planning a two week vacation through a part of Europe I have never been to. I'm excited to explore and travel again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a host, a couchsurfer, a friend, a drinking buddy, a teacher and a student. I have participated in CS meetings and get togethers, not as often as i would like but as much as i have been able to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my lifetime i have had a few experiences. To say one is better than the other is absurd cause they have all been amazing in their own unique way which is why it's such a great experience. Each one is very personal to me and i haven't forgotten anyone who has offered a bed, a couch, a floor, a corner of a room, a drink, a glass of wine, a bit of knowledge, and a chance to learn something new. It's all been amazing!!

Interests

Obviously traveling, music, playing guitar, learning piano, learning in general, having deep conversations with anyone and everyone, enjoying the outdoors, reading, relaxing, swimming, laughing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 2014 traveling abroad from Southeast Asia to Australia. It was an unbelievable experience and something I will always cherish.

Driven cross country in a Honda Civic Hybrid and seeing the geography of the southern United States. It's been an amazing ride and I have seen some of the most beautiful sunsets (New Mexico desert), most scenic routes, and felt some of the coldest days I've ever experienced. 27 degrees F is pretty cold for a kid coming from Miami.

- Traveled to Italy, my first time leaving the States. It was an amazing adventure. Walked the Cinque Terra with a bag of luggage. Would never give that experience up. Drank wine with the greatest people in Italy. Thank you all!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share some of my experiences from traveling around the world and living on a small isolated island for the past 5 years. As for learning, there's so much to learn and I am more than happy to listen to stories and lessons from fellow hosts.
