Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Istanbul. Found a great friend in my host in Istanbul. Cem was very involved with the Tahir square protests when I was there and to experience the intensity with which this pro-bono lawyer felt for his cause was absolutely unexpected and an amzing first-hand experience that only CS can provide. Got to learn about the politics of Turkey, the essence of Ataturk, the syrian refugee problem, the immense contrasts that exist within Istanbul. Inspired me to find a cause at some point in my life and take it seriously.

Interests

A good day for me would include some sport (swim, badminton, squash, anything), a good conversation (on current affairs/sport/politics/travel/anything that tickles my intellect), a book (short stories/sci-fi/the wodehouse genre) and an interesting development at work (you know, the right paper that gives you the right idea). I think that pretty much sums it up.

I would like to travel across the United Kingdom (since I am here for another 10 months and want to make it count).
