Hey there! I’m Srikanta, 30, working as a Data Architect. I recently moved to Austria after, and I’m on a lifelong mission to explore the world and meet crazy, inspiring people along the way.

I’ve always been fascinated by history and culture….. that’s what drew me to Europe in the first place, to see the places I’ve only read about in books. Speaking of books, I’m an avid reader and a naturally curious soul.

Where you can crash-

There’s a comfy couch waiting, and if you’re cool with sharing and don’t snore like a chainsaw….. we’re good to go. You’ll have access to the kitchen to cook, store your beers, or experiment with questionable recipes.

I’ve got a nice balcony with a little garden, and my house is literally 20 steps from the river—perfect for a morning jog or just sitting by the water with a drink and good music.

If you’re in Salzburg for the weekend, I’d be happy to show you around, share a few local stories, and maybe grab a beer or two while exploring the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing feels like the perfect fit for me.. meeting people, sharing stories, and learning about different perspectives. A friend recently introduced me to it, and I instantly loved the idea. Before this, I mostly stayed in hostels, but now I’m excited to both surf and host.

I live in a cozy apartment in Salzburg and would be happy to welcome travelers, exchange stories. I have a small bed and an extra mattress, so we can accommodate.

My Couchsurfing Criteria:

Pretty simple really….. if we can sit and talk while having a beer, that’s already a win. Coffee or wine also work (I’m flexible like that). Bonus points if you bring good stories, questionable jokes, or random facts that make no sense but sound deep after two drinks.

You don’t have to be perfect—just curious, kind, and open to conversations that drift from philosophy to pizza toppings. If we vibe, cool….. if not, at least we’ll have a funny story to tell.
