About Me

Hi, I’m Erik 😊

I live on my own and I’d describe myself as easy-going, open-minded and active. I enjoy going to the gym, exploring new places and staying curious about the world.

At the moment, I’m working on a personal project — converting a van into a camper. It’s something I’m building step by step on my own, and I really enjoy the process. It keeps me creative and gives me a bigger goal to work towards.

I like a good balance in life — sometimes it’s deep conversations about life and growth, other times it’s spontaneous trips, trying new food or going out for a drink.

I respect personal space, keep my home calm and clean, and I appreciate honest, relaxed energy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, Couchsurfing is about cultural exchange and meeting interesting people from different backgrounds.

I enjoy showing travelers around, sharing stories and learning from different perspectives. I’m also here to improve my English and get better at communicating with people from different cultures.

I’m open to different experiences — from chilled evenings to exploring the city or going out — it really depends on the vibe.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is pretty open — I can listen to almost anything depending on the mood, but lately I mostly listen to SK rap. I also enjoy live music from time to time, especially at festivals or smaller concerts.

For movies, I’m into fantasy, action and comedies. I like films that are exciting or adventurous, but I’m not really a fan of horror movies.

When it comes to books, I usually read personal development and mindset-related books, and sometimes travel stories. I enjoy reading things that give me new ideas or a different way of looking at the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent around six months traveling solo through Southeast Asia. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made — I learned a lot about myself, different cultures and how to adapt to new situations.

Another big thing for me is currently converting a van into a camper on my own. It’s a long-term project I’m building step by step. It takes patience, problem-solving and consistency — but I really enjoy the process.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m happy to share what I know about my country, local culture and everyday life here. I can also share some simple cooking, training habits, or stories from traveling and working on my van project.

At the same time, I’d like to improve my English through real conversations and learn more about different cultures and perspectives. I’m curious about how people live in other parts of the world and what shapes their mindset.

For me, it’s mostly about exchanging experiences, ideas and having relaxed, honest conversations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I’m traveling, I’m respectful and easy to host. I keep things simple, clean and organized, and I always respect personal space and house rules.

I can share stories from my travels, cook something simple, or just have a relaxed conversation about life, culture or random topics. I’m comfortable both with quiet evenings and a bit of social energy — it really depends on the vibe.

For me, it’s about mutual respect and making the experience comfortable for both sides.
