Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live to travel, but being able to meet new people in the process is even more exciting. As someone who has lived a fair number of places, learning of new countries and cultures is integral to how I was raised. This site seems an excellent way to ensure that every trip I make is a chance to continue that learning process!

I have taught music, French, and Spanish, and I speak several other languages. I'd love to learn some of yours!

I am a pretty good knitter 🧶 and enjoy learning about handcrafts. Stuck on a knitting project? I might be able to help.

I have traveled a fair bit around my own country and am happy to share recommendations with visitors. The famous big cities and coasts are wonderful, of course; there is also much more to see than just those places! What underrated/unknown destinations should I consider visiting in your country?
