About Me

Musician and educator, language learner, fan of linguistics, geography, and trains.

Originally from Colorado, grew up internationally, and have now lived in Salt Lake City for over a decade.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live to travel, but being able to meet new people in the process is even more exciting. As someone who has lived a fair number of places, learning of new countries and cultures is integral to how I was raised. This site seems an excellent way to ensure that every trip I make is a chance to continue that learning process!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught music, French, and Spanish, and I speak several other languages. I'd love to learn some of yours!

I am a pretty good knitter 🧶 and enjoy learning about handcrafts. Stuck on a knitting project? I might be able to help.

I have traveled a fair bit around my own country and am happy to share recommendations with visitors. The famous big cities and coasts are wonderful, of course; there is also much more to see than just those places! What underrated/unknown destinations should I consider visiting in your country?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Home cooking, my knowledge of languages and music, cultural insights into the United States.

If you like to sing, it won't take much to convince me to sing with you ^_^
