pros: loyal, honest, direct, helpful, intelligent, capable, organized, efficient, fun-loving, energetic (altho this is waning a bit these days), results-oriented, good with time management and planning, compassionate towards the underdog, the very young and the very old.

travelling to new places (preferably with the right companion), i like my own company but can socialize well when the opportunity presents itself. reading, watching shows or movies on tv (don't particularly like going to theaters - sound tends to be too loud), spending the occasional day with extended family, visits with my children who live away, spending time with friends.

i love wild animals so my trip to Kruger national park where i got to see the big 5 was the most amazing experience for me.

waves crashing against pilings in capetown; Niagara falls from the canadian side; and Victoria Falls altho it wasn't in full spate since the monsoons hadn't arrived yet but still glorious. watching the awesome power of turbulent water is fascinating and mesmerizing.

like famous classical numbers; most pop and classic rock music. comedies and drama in movies and tv. almost any type of reading depending on my interest and mood at the time. most often detective and suspense novels. but also dip into childhood books on occasion.

cliche i know, but i would have to say maintaining a good relationship with my daughter even through all the ups and downs and conflicting personalities. of course my daughter also had a lot to do with maintaining the relationship :)

taking it literally, i would like to teach elementary school kids. still working on settling somewhere first in order to do it. i've been a nomad for some years now and probably will be for as long as my body can take it!

i always look for ways to "learn" in any situation and circumstance.

i have 2 grown up kids and been working for the better part of 30 years so have a lot of experience i could share with those who seek.
