I've been quoted as being a "nerdy, glasses-wearing, Silverlake artfag"... Kinda funny. yes, I do do a lot of arty things. i play on skateboards and bicycles. I play the bass, guitar, and cello. I enjoy a good live band. On my days off I usually begin the day by reading and drinking coffee...

My couch is often frequented by people passing through Los Angeles.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've spent the past 15 years of my life traveling around playing on skateboards and playing music. Almost always there are new and fun people to meet "on the road". Thanks to all who have lent me a sofa and some floor space!

Some favorites would be Fugazi, Neurosis, Into the Moat, Red Sparowes, John Coltrane, Converge, The Mars Volta, Atheist, Miles Davis, Neutral Milk Hotel, Bad Brains, John Fahey, Return to Forever, Mr. Bungle, Cephalic Carnage, Isis, King Crimson, The Meters, Slayer, Coalesce, Dinosaur Jr., Dillinger Escape Plan, Tortoise, Shellac, Mastodon, Primus, Kyuss, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Tom Waits...

I am presently reading "Breakfast of Champions" by Kurt Vonnegut. I recently went on a 5-day backpacking adventure into Sequoia Natl. Park. No roads for miles! It's so nice getting away from the city from time to time.
