I'm a commercial skipper with my own vessel (boat/yacht/ship) delivery business, quiet often take travellers with me on adventures on the sea, delivering boats from anywhere to anywhere, mainly around australia, NZ, New Caledonia, PNG etc, this is quiet often paid crewing positions, for female crew to work with me, duties are cook/deckie, in which I teach you everything and get you driving on watches, which is manning the auto pilot. Great experience as you get to travel and see Australia along the coastal towns and city's by boat.

I'm one of those people that know lots of people around the country and knowledge on history, marine and wildlife, marine research and film, traditional dreamtime stories and legends, bush tukka, bush medicine, a guide of my home, the Daintree Rainforest to the Great Barrier Reef, to the Tablelands, to the Gulf country and so on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Delivered boats all over the oceans to new countries.

Dived and researched Sharks, mantas, whales, fish, coral, jellyfish, nautilus, invertebrates, sea snakes, turtles and so on,
Skippered for the filming of Discovery Channel- "mysteries of the shark coast",
Imax's- "under the sea 3D", Walt Disney's- "oceans", been a pirate extra on Channel 9s- "sea patrol" (tv series)
And endless other tv programmes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As above, my home, my surrounds, my knowledge and my spirit.
I currently live on a 45' yacht on the inlet at Port Douglas, close to town, come and experience living on a big boat for your stay in Paradise. We often catch mud crab and fish straight off the back of the boat and then feast on fresh seafood and wine 🍷.

(Guys, I get lots of requests by couples, if youre couples, I suggest you try another couch surfer in my area as I prefer single people to meet, no offence, I found couples tend to not mix as much and stick to themselves, which really makes me feel they might as well not be in my home in that case.)
