About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel whenever I can and meet as many of the world's citizens as I can.

ABOUT ME

Oh, how does one ever describe themselves? I recently moved down to Charleston and am still exploring and finding my feet. I'm the garde mangier at a restaurant downtown, and love the restaurant industry and the wide world of food and drink.

Mostly I'm trying to learn and explore and maybe at some point find out what I'm all about.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is hard enough without me making it more difficult for others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I'm in a host only mode. I work in a kitchen, so sometimes I have to work nights, but I'll do my best to help you out and show you around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been a member of couchsurfing for some time, though unfortunately haven't had much chance to participate recently. I've hosted quite a few people, and I loved them all. The fact that strangers are willing to help one another out and have a good time fills me with hope. Hopefully I'll get the chance to surf myself soon!

Interests

Food, talking, walking off the beaten path, reading, music...I mean I like most of the large general categories of stuff. I guess to know the details you'd have to meet me and spend some time talking. Little blurbs like this are kind of impersonal, you know?

Music, Movies, and Books

I've read more books than I can even think of. Music is a gift.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time while I was in Malta, a few friends of mine got up before dawn and trekked in the general direction of this statue on a mountain we had seen. It was a cold, wet, and thorn filled hike but we eventually made it to the summit just in time to see the sun break slowly and softly over the horizon.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Malta, Tunisia

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, United States
