ABOUT ME

I am Australian female 32 years old. I have just returned to Australia after nearly 8 years abroad....mostly living in London but have also campervaned around Europe and just got back from 8 months in south america which was so incredible! i am so passionate about Spain and Spanish language which I am slow snail pace learning.

PHILOSOPHY

i really enjoy life and live life to the fulllest as part of my make-up. most things are worth trying once. you only live once so enjoy the journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only couch surfed twice in South America but have also met up with people through couch surfing to share travel experiences and practise Spanish. All my experiences have been so great and am still in contact with some of my hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have heard such great things from travellers i have met along the way...saying that couchsurfing is a great way to meet local people and understand more about a country and their people...so here i am registering. unfortunately with no experience with couchsurfing but i still love to meet new people all the same.

Interests

i am interested in lots of things....mostly i am really interesting in contining to learn spanish language. its a dream of mine to be fluent in spanish...and south america is such a great place for this. i am also interested in adrenelene sports or activities, such as canyoning, rafting, scuba diving, horse riding, kitesurfing, and hiking. i enjoy running through lots of new cities. i love beach time and chilling and also love hiking and countryside. i like to meet new people to hear about their experiences and share mine and also love hanging out with my friends and catching up.

Music, Movies, and Books

books - i like books based on travel and history of a culture or country but from an individual persons perspective. its always good to read a comedy or true experience novel aswell. i love relaxing and watching movies...in particular thriller movies, comedy, action, romantic comedy, and true stories

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i loved climbing kilimanjaro on new years day last year. that was definitely a highlight in my life. i also really enjoy scuba diving and doing my advanced open water padi in egypt was amazing! finally a dream of mine is to learn spanish which i am trying to do now in south america :)
