About Me

I want to know and understand

Hey there! It's been a while since I joined CS. But only since summer 2010 I started to really meet and host a lot of CSrs. And I enjoyed it so much! I think I am now addicted to meeting new people all the time =)

I am an adventurous person, hate being at one place for a long time. I often dart off and go to some place I've never seen before.

I was a student of the Austrian University in Salzburg between October 2009 and June 2013. My group of classmates was very international and that was what I appreciated most about this! I really love being in that multi-culti atmosphere! Such a great chance to learn different cultures! I enjoyed every minute spent at this University!

In 2011 I spent one semester in Hong Kong as an exchange student. After that I spent a wonderful Summer in Barcelona, Spain. Great times!

Oh and one more thing about me: I am into rawfoodism and am a vegetarian. All in all I am for a healthy lifestyle.

Wherever you are, it's all about the people.

Frank Zappa

I don't like to be numbered with Russians - I am a cosmopolitan person. My dream is to have a World Passport :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted and have been hosted too. And I love it!=)

I met really interesting people, all of them are so different! Love CS for having an opportunity to meet people of other cultures and mentality...
The best thing is that you can see life of a different culture from inside. Seeing how people live is what helps us understand each other better. <3

Tea and chocolate. =)
Languages for sure, travelling, helicopters:)

I love Asia.

Music, Movies, and Books

Film: Ponette(1996), The Phantom of the Opera, Blues Brothers 2000, The Holiday, Das Leben der Anderen, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Barfuss, Elizabethtown

Music: Jazz and blues first of all! LP, Lifehouse

Book: Martin Eden by Jack London, Godfather by Mario Puzo, Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer (everyone should read it!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is about the people I meet on the way. Knowing some of them had a big influence on me is the greatest thing. I believe nothing happens without a reason, so anyone we meet was meant to have that influence on us.

But apart from that I loved:
New York at Christmas time... like a fairy tale!
Flying on a helicopter - just amazing!!!
Letting it go and enjoying my life! =)))

Want to do the bungee jump from the highest bridge in Africa=)

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach people (or at least try) to be more open-minded.

I was told my positivity is contagious. ;)

Also can teach to make some dishes (well, I'm not Bree Van de Kamp at it, but still I can do something=)). Raw food recipes for example is something I am collecting a lot of info on at the moment. So your ideas are welcome!^_^

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria, China, Hong Kong, Macao, Russian Federation, Spain
