I'm originally from Lawrence, Kansas and moved to France to teach in Bordeaux last spring. I spent the summer WWOOFing in Ireland and now am teaching in Clermont-Ferrand at a collège, lycée, and university. I'm real easy to get along with and love exploring new cities with good company

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While living in France I hope to travel, explore, and meet as many people from around the world as possible. It's far more interesting to experience a new area and culture with locals ;) I'm rather new to couch surfing, but the experiences I've had have been wonderful so far and I'm looking forward to hosting when I settle into an apartment in the fall.
