ABOUT ME

I am Australian, but have lived in Asia for the past 10 years. I worked many years as a tour leader , taking people on tours around asia. Now i live in Beijing, China working part time teaching art in an international school. I also have my own small business there which is a cultural exchange centre offering workshops in chinese cooking, tea, martial arts, photography, life drawing, etc. You can check out our web site www.thehutong.com for more details
I love dancing and am now travelling around Europe attending tango festivals.

I am looking for a place to stay for about a week, however understand if you can only offer a night or two. As long as Ihave a place to go to when i first arrive, i can then work something out for the rest of the week once I get there. Im also more than happy to pay for a room
If interested I can introduce you to the world of tango and some of my lovely tango friends wo may also be attending the festival. Id also like to offer you aplace to stay in Beijing if you ever make it over that way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a member of couch surfing for over a year, but have never actually used it before. I can assure you that I will be a respectful, independent easy guest. I always travel with a sleeping bag and can sleep anywhere. I am very happy to crash on the floor.
I have been living in a tiny room in the same premises as my business, so not suitable for hosting, however I plan on moving into my own place when i return to Beijing so hope to host people soon.
