Overview
About Me
I love travel and adventures! I work at a high school in Houston, Texas, and I spend all my holidays traveling the world. I have been to several countries and over 20 states within the US. I love being active and busy, and I'm always ready to try something new.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking to meet fellow travel lovers and learn about their stories. In my travels, I've used Couchsurfing several times for meet ups and for a place to stay, and I'm happy to return the favor to people visiting Houston. Houston has a lot of hidden gems, so I love to show people what all Houston has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a lover of indie rock and music festivals. Every year, I go to Bonnaroo, Jazz Fest, FPSF, and sometimes other festivals, too. I was an English major, once upon a time, and I love to read. I don't watch much TV or see many movies, but I did love Game of Thrones, Black Mirror, and Stranger Things.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's too hard to pick one, but hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu was an experience I will never forget.
What I Can Share with Hosts
For my hosts, I would be happy to make you some delicious food or cocktails! My specialty drinks are Trinidad sours, pisco sours, and ramos gin fizzes. My boyfriend, Umair, also makes a delicious Aviation. I can cook great German food (recipes from my grandma), Southern country dishes, or I make an amazing breakfast for dinner or regular breakfast!
